Computing & AI Education

Advancing a new model for computing and AI education at MIT and beyond.

The MIT Schwarzman College of Computing is advancing a new model for computing and AI education, at MIT and beyond, that strengthens the foundations of computing while connecting students across fields with the knowledge and tools to address complex challenges in their own areas of study.

This work spans the full range of learning opportunities at MIT, from undergraduate and graduate degree programs to interdisciplinary subjects, hands-on experiences, and courses that integrate computational thinking, data science, and AI with other fields. Students build technical depth, explore the applications and societal implications of computing and AI, and develop the skills to use these tools thoughtfully and creatively in their future work.
